Sumner Street Shea launched in 2021 with our signature product: unrefined Grade A shea butter infused with tropical essential oils. Our essential oil mixes are inspired by the tropical ambiance and colors of Ghana.

Shea butter is the fat extracted from the nuts of the Karité tree. We only use premium shea nuts sourced from Ghana, West Africa, specifically in the northern regions where the Karité tree grows abundantly. Our shea butter is unrefined and created with time-tested methods by local Ghanaian shea artisans. Each shea nut is inspected and handpicked to guarantee the smooth texture of our products.
